How We're Resetting For Fall

How We're Resetting For Fall
Written by

We all know September is the season for getting sh*t done, fresh starts, and finding your rhythm again.

After the slower pace of summer, fall feels like the perfect moment to reset. There’s something about crisp air, richer tones, and the energy of a new season that inspires fresh routines, updated wardrobes, and setting meaningful intentions.

Here’s how we’re resetting for fall.

Miriam

Beauty

My current line up includes: Gee Beauty’s Energizing Eye Cream - I love the cooling applicator tip for a stimulating and de-puffing massage, Dr. Sebagh Neck Lift, and SkinCeutical CE Ferulic. I'm also loving AOX Vitamin C Eye Gel.

I’ve been focusing more on my body care, so I’m doing weekly Lymphatic Drainage massage at Gee Beauty with Ance. For the feet, I’m using the Serum Doctor foot file and foot serum - trust me you feel like a new person after this!

For skin treatments I’m booked in for The Medi Face Lift next week and I can’t wait!

I maintain the Lymphatic Drainage results at home with the De La Heart body sculptor and U Beauty’s The Super Body Hydrator.

Fashion

I am welcoming back the 80’s shoulder pads, I loved them then and I love it for Fall 2025.  I’m going to add shoulder pads to my current fall silhouettes.

Soft textures of suede, cashmere, big scarfs, dresses, long sleeves, midi skirts, hats. It’s me. I’m going to the closets to style this weekend! For me fashion is all about using my creativity to see what can be paired together for unexpected and visually interesting combinations. I can’t wait to incorporate this inspiration into my wardrobe and makeup looks!

This fall needs to be called "Get The Look with Miriam" because fall richer colours and textures are designed for me and my signature style.

Lifestyle

Not new shifts but rather deeper dives into my faith, my daily prayer, and my spirituality.

Intentional exercises. I do Rachel Fitness on Instagram - it’s only 30 mins and incorporates weights, planks, crunches, squats, presses and pulls. I can’t stress enough on the importance of maintaining muscle mass, especially into your 70’s.

Mindset

Fall is perfect timing to coincide with the Jewish New Year, 5786. I always envision the beautiful changes at the start of the season: the leaves changing color, the trees release their leaves, so it’s appropriate to release what does not serve me any longer, negative habits, unnecessary clutter, excuses and truly making room for growth.

Beauty

This season I'll be reaching for Prime Concealer (launching this fall). This flexible formula stretches over the skin leaving a glowy finish that makes skin look radiant. I'll pair Prime Concealer with my tried and true Prime Skin along with a fall shadow palette. I can't wait for warm brown and terracotta tones. All launching soon!

Fashion

My fall wardrobe is always a mix of my favorite things from past seasons mixed with some new pieces. I always love to pair denim with a great blazer and I just bought a trench jacket that's in a light weight fabric I can't wait to wear. I'll mix this with some Hanes white tank and trousers, of course my always signature leather jacket!

Lifestyle

With back to school in full swing, I'm leaning into routine and structure more than ever! My morning coffee paired with red light, vibration plate and morning prayer and gratitude is a combination that really sets the tone for me.

Mindset

For me, fall feels like a season of refocus and recommitment. My mantra right now is "there are no problems, just light and solutions." Saying this helps me constantly shift when I feel overwhelmed.

Fall in Miami cools to a breezey 80 degrees, so think beach days and cinnamon topped iced coffees!

Beauty

I’m absolutely loving the new SkinCeuticals AGE Interrupter Ultra Serum to target fine lines and help keep my skin plump. This combined with P-TIOX has been a game changer.

I also just did my first fall facial! We always start with general exfoliation and a more subtle about of resurfacing - we did a Hydrafacial with meso-therapy and gentle micro-needling for the first treatment, and then do a deeper micro-needling for the second treatment, which I will probably do in about 3 weeks.

Multi-Prime now goes on before any of my daily makeup to help grip the makeup for longer-wear, while keeping my skin feeling fresh and firm.

“While I love summer, I get so excited about my deeper facial treatments to really help target pigmentation from the summer and also to stimulate collagen and plumping.”

Fashion

Fall fashion doesn't really start until later in the season here in Miami because it stays so hot in temperature. I do love to incorporate fall colors like brown and burgundy. I’ll also be wearing silk pants paired with python-printed flip flops or thong kitten-heel sandals and lightweight cardigans. Once it gets a little cooler I’ll pull out my little crop oxblood leather jacket and I just found a gorgeous khaki green suede one.

Lifestyle

I’m working on making the most of my mornings while keeping the energy calm. I’ll do this by having some meditative or reflective time (prayer, journaling, stretching) followed by productive things like meal prep while wearing undereye masks doing a short workout, that make me feel very set up for the day.

“Sometimes this time of year can make us feel anxious with so much to do and that feeling that summer is over, so I really lean into these tools to help me feel balanced.”

Celene Gee

Mindset

I find this time of year to be very spiritual. There is an energy of newness and reflection - whether it’s thinking through your goals or how you are progressing in them, going deeper within yourself to see how you want to grow. There’s less outside pressure vs. the start of the calendar year so it’s kind of like an under the radar opportunity to reflect and evaluate.

I might make a new visualization board for myself or talk to my sisters and mother about what in currently inspiring us. I always stick to my mantras of “keep it moving” when I feel stuck, and that slow and steady wins the race. Less looking around and comparing yourself to things that might not even be real. Stay present where you are.

Stephanie

Beauty

For me, fall is about getting back to a routine that feels restorative and effective. After summer, my skin craves treatments that repair, energize, and bring everything back into balance. so I’ve been leaning on Augustinus Bader’s Retinol Serum to smooth and brighten, and I love how quickly it brings back that fresh glow. I never skip our Gee Beauty Energizing Eye Cream — it’s the one thing that instantly wakes up my eyes in the morning and makes me look more rested.

I’ve also been focusing more on my neck and décolleté, and the U Beauty Neck Compound has become part of my daily ritual for keeping everything firm and lifted.

And because beauty starts from the inside, I’ve added Agent Nateur’s new Magnesium into my routine. It helps me sleep better, feel calmer, and overall just more recharged as I move into a new season.

Fashion

I’m ready to shop for fall from 6 By Gee! I’m super into the rugby, ‘boy’ back to school look, which includes this top from 6 - https://6bygeebeauty.com/products/clay-tee a preppy cardigan like this one: https://6bygeebeauty.com/products/cashmere-crewneck-cardigan

Lifestyle

I’m going to soak up the gorgeous fall weather as I continue to prioritize my long morning walks in the Cedervale Ravine, playing Pickleball outside at Fairgrounds and making a moment with all my meals - lots of warm foods, plated, and seated as chic as possible!

I'm also excited to be travelling to Miami to be with our whole family - it’s the biggest blessing!

Stephanie Gee

Mindset

My biggest focuses this seasons are on my family, my home and the Jewish New Year. This time of year is sacred to me and deeply connects me to my spirituality.

I feel lucky that my home is a grounding place for all of our friends and family. I show love and connection through hosting, and food, so we are excitedly celebrating Rosh Hashana at our house.
