September has always had its own particular energy.
There’s something about this time of year that makes a little structure feel good again. We’re interested in getting dressed, making plans, returning to routines—and finding a few new sources of inspiration along the way. It's not a reset, exactly. More of a shift.
Here’s where our heads are going into the new season.
NATALIE: ACCELERATING IN MY LANE
This fall, I'm feeling focused and ready. Less distraction, more commitment to the things that are working - I'm motivated to see how far I can go.
This applies to work, where I'm feeling super driven with an incredible Fall / Holiday season approaching (I love our being in our studios and creating easy and effective beauty regimens for our clients), but also to the routines that keep everything else moving. I'm excited to get back to filming my makeup looks in the car (IYKYK), staying consistent with my daily wellness habits and keeping my attention where it truly matters - my family, our business, and my commitments to myself.
My wardrobe is getting the same edit. I'm into modern suiting, slouchy leather pants, strong shoulders and pieces that feel effortless but pulled together. The palette: navy, grey, white, camel and brown. Very little black.
And, in what may be the most definitive statement of the season: I does not need any more denim (quite the statement for me, but lets see how long this lasts!). I want to wear all the pairs I already have and love.
My inspiration and shopping references are Frankie Shop, Ronny Kobo, 6 By Gee Beauty and a little intentional Zara - but no more big Zara hauls. The thing I am looking for? A YSL-inspired suede loafer in that perfect camel-tobacco shade.
The shift: fewer distractions, fewer impulse buys, more conviction.

MIRIAM: RAISING THE BAR
For me, fall is about getting back to the things I knows work.
My daily morning routine and prayers are non-negotiable. Being outside with Vinny keeps me moving, along with Rachel Fitness workouts at home and Pilates for strength and flexibility. Nothing particularly new or complicated—just the rituals I returns to again and again. My commitment to myself is my priority.
That same sense of commitment is showing up at Gee Beauty. I have been spending a lot of time with our teams in Toronto and Miami, leading trainings and focusing on something I've always cared deeply about: creating an exceptional service. Our teams truly amaze me - their talents, their passion - I learn so much from these experiences.
For me, excellence is in the details. How we welcome someone, how we make them feel, how well we know what we do and the pride we take in doing it beautifully. As we get closer to opening The James, I'm especially excited to bring that spirit into our new home—and to welcome clients into this next chapter. Because, as I always say, there really is no place like Gee Beauty.
And naturally, fall means fashion. I'm looking for beautifully tailored suit jackets to wear with long, flowy skirts, mixing prints, colors, textures and patterns and finding new ways to work in my forever favorite: animal print.
A little structure, a little movement, and never too much matching.
The shift: returning to what works—and continuing to raise the bar.
September always feels like the moment to take stock. Treatments go back on the calendar. Hydration comes back in. We start thinking about what we want to work on over the next few months. A seasonal check-in, rather than a reinvention.

STEPHANIE: FALL BACK IN LOVE WITH YOUR ROUTINE
I just came back from Copenhagen and wow - I'm so inspired to have more fun with my wardrobe and getting dressed. More color, more prints, more pattern and a little less concern about whether everything technically “goes.” It’s less about buying into a particular fall look and more about expressing myself creatively again. The timing is perfect because Fall is my favorite season.
Post-trip, I'm craving consistency - as I usually do no matter the time of year. My meditative morning walks are back. And after a summer of being a little more relaxed with her skin, she has a plan with our Medi-Beauty Skin Therapist Luiza in our Toronto studio: microneedling, Medi-Peel sprinkled in, SkinCeuticals LHA Serum for refining and Obagi lash serum.
I'm also in major planning mode for our move to the James later this season. I'm making my lists and checking them twice - we have an incredible team working on this round the clock and I cannot wait for our clients to see our new space!
There’s something very September about falling back in love with the things you already know make you feel good.
The shift: more expression, more consistency—and a proper skin plan.

#CeleneCuisine: Family EditionCELENE: CREATIVE MOMENTUM
Fall dressing in Miami requires a little imagination. It’s still very much summer outside, but I’m always ready for the shift—so I start with color. Richer, deeper tones that feel like fall, even if the fabrics have to wait. And with lots of trips to Toronto coming up as we oversee the creative direction of The James, I’ll have plenty of opportunities to properly get dressed for the season.
My skin is getting its own post-summer shift. Right now, I’m focused on fading some of the evidence of all that summer sun—particularly sun spots—and I have an incredible lineup of treatments planned between Miami and Toronto, with microneedling and radio frequency firmly on the agenda.
There’s a lot happening creatively this fall. Product development, marketing, photoshoots, new launches and, of course, the move to The James. I’m excited by all of it. I want to keep flexing my creative muscles and pushing into new territory.
Maybe because there’s so much going on, I’m also more committed than ever to the routines that ground me. Prayer, movement and mindfulness in the morning. Walks along the boardwalk by the beach in the evening. Taking any opportunity I can to get outside, be in nature and reset.
I want the season to feel full, but not frantic.
The shift: creative momentum, with a little more grounding.
A RETURN TO RHYTHM
We’re all craving is a little rhythm again.
Not a rigid routine or a complete overhaul. Just the small anchors that make the days feel better: morning skincare, a workout you actually like, a walk outside, making plans, getting dressed, putting the phone down for a while.
Our skin gets a little more attention, too. After a summer of sun, heat and travel, September always feels like the moment to take stock. Treatments go back on the calendar. Hydration comes back in. We start thinking about what we want to work on over the next few months. A seasonal check-in, rather than a reinvention.
And maybe that's the mood for fall.
A little more dressed. A little more focused. Back to some of the things we know make us feel good—and curious about what might be next.
There are clothes we can't wait to wear, treatments booked, places to go, things to learn, work we're excited about and ideas we haven't had yet.
That feels like more than enough to look forward to.
