Ready, set, RESET.
If making a long list of goals and resolutions for the new year feels overwhelming and just isn't for you, then maybe a grounding reset checklist is the right move.
Today on the #GeeEdit, this is how we're resetting, organizing + prioritizing for 2025.
What is a reset checklist?
It's a list of the quick wins that you know will reset your mindset and contribute to you feeling put together and accomplished at the end of the day.
This practice is designed to be grounding and low-pressure with the benefit of crossing something off a list - is there anything more satisfying?
How do I get started?
Make a list of things that are realistic tasks that you can achieve to contribute to your space being organized, clean, and tidy. It really goes hand-in-hand with our mental wellbeing!
Your list can consist of tasks you want to accomplish or habits you want to start implementing. They can be things like cleaning your fridge, organizing your pantry or supplements, de-cluttering your beauty cabinet or editing down your closet.
My goals this month are not overwhelming and very attainable for me: commit to a consistent and early sleep routine (which means starting my wind-down earlier than usual), meal prepping and bringing my lunch to work with me, trying new local grocery shops, carving out some creative time, not feeling compelled to reach for my phone every time it gives me a notification.

This Is How We Stay OrganizedI found some time over the holidays to organize my accessories shelves which were getting too messy, and I also edited my skincare shelves. Next I really need to do my pantry shelves in the kitchen. I’ve been putting it off but it needs to be done and I’m going to feel so accomplished when I do!
