Ageless Beauty

Ageless Beauty

As a mother and three daughters in the beauty business, we each carry our own perspectives, rituals, and lessons. But one thing we all share: we believe in honoring where we are, while working toward where we want to be.

I never obeyed the idea of age as limitation. I respect my age — but it doesn’t define what I’m capable of. I started Gee Beauty at 55. That’s my proof.

Miriam Gee

For me, ageless beauty starts in the mind. It’s mindset. Energy. I’ve never really subscribed to the idea that age defines us. I started Gee Beauty at 55, and that alone proves that you can start anything at any stage.

Of course, I respect my age—and I’m grateful for every single day. I pray, I show gratitude for my family, my work, every meal. That gratitude fuels me. But feeling ageless didn’t just happen. It takes work. I wish it was as easy as applying my nighttime serum (which, yes, I never skip), but the truth is: the internal work is just as important.

To me, ageless beauty is about how we treat ourselves. It's in the care we take with our rituals, our energy, and our choices. I admire women who carry a quiet confidence, who glow from within, who don’t overdo it—but who also do whatever they need to feel good. Whether it’s a new wellness practice or something cosmetic, what matters most is how it makes you feel.

I know aging can be difficult to accept sometimes—especially when we don’t feel like the number we see on paper. There are changes, for sure. But we always have choices. When we take care of ourselves—inside and out—we can get closer to where we want to be. And we can accept where we are because we know we’re doing the work.

Let’s be honest: comparison can trip us up. But that’s where confidence and self-worth come in. We don’t need to win every race. But we can keep showing up for ourselves. Age today is not what it used to be—55 really does feel like the new 40. So choose what helps your mindset. Do it for you.

Aging is a power play.

For me, aging means stepping into responsibility for my life. The more I grow, the more I own my choices—and that feels powerful. I’ve really leaned into learning who I’m becoming through age and experience.

One of my core childhood memories is watching my mom embrace her nighttime rituals. She always looked so at peace during her bath, or when applying her skincare before bed. It wasn’t just self-care—it was self-celebration. That joy inspired me.

Routines like skincare and makeup have always felt natural to me, but what really shifts me is movement. Whether it’s exercise or deeper personal growth, I feel most in my prime when I’m actively evolving. And yes, I still wear Prime Skin to the gym!

My relationship to aging hasn’t always been smooth.

There was a time when I was caught up in timelines—feeling like I had to hit certain milestones by a certain age. But I’ve worked hard to shift that mindset. Now, I try to see aging as a gift, not a deadline. It’s taken daily work, and practice, and patience. But I’m learning to embrace where I am, to be present, and to let go of the pressure.

What’s helped me most is the example my mom set: that age doesn’t define you. You can start something new, become someone new, anytime. That’s what I think of when I hear the word ageless.

In my daily life, I prioritize the basics that really work: hydration, movement, sleep, and eating well. And yes—I never skip my nighttime skin routine. Ever.

I view aging as growing. And growing is the greatest gift.

Stephanie Gee

To me, aging is just another word for evolving. I feel lucky to grow. Watching my mom embrace life with so much energy and wisdom has grounded me at every stage. She’s always said that age is energy—not a number. That’s stayed with me.

I try to learn from everyone, whether they’re older or younger. We’re never done learning. That idea makes me feel more connected to myself and my purpose.

My must-haves? Walking. And eight hours of sleep. No matter what’s happening in my day or in my life, those two things help me feel strong, clear, and in my prime.
