How We Switch It Up For Summer

A NEW SEASON MEANS NEW ROUTINES!

On today's #GeeEdit, we're sharing the edits we make to each of our routines come the summertime.

From how we change up our makeup look, update our style and our skincare regimens, we're giving you an inside look into how we switch it up!

Miriam Gee:

For summer I love to make a statement and express creativity through my looks. I mix bold prints and patterns and really have fun getting dressed in the mornings. I tend to wear lighter fabrics in the summer so I love silks, chiffons and linens. I love to pair my outfits with fun, bold makeup looks. This summer I'm really leaning into the pinky/rosey shades like Pinkybeam Color Stick, Babe Lip Liner, Dylan Nourishing Lip Gloss, Hello Gorgeous Lipstick, Soft Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette, and Vivian Lip Color Stick. To achieve an even more luminous glow on the skin without full coverage makeup, I mix Liquid Glow 02 with our Prime Beauty Oil and Multi-Prime.

Natalie Gee:

Summer for me is all about denim! I've really been mixing my denims and wearing them in different ways. As an on-the-go mom, I'm in running shoes all summer long but I always elevate them, dressing them up during the daytime and down for my kids' sports games.

My makeup look in the summer is very simple and pared down. I've been wearing our new Moisture Tint (coming soon!) as well as Multi Mascara, lip liner and our new lip crayons. My scent of summer is Le Labo's Lavande - it's such a unique floral lavendar scent that's like nothing else.

Because my days are so busy, I want my makeup, skin + hair routine to feel luxurious but also be super efficient as time is of the essence. I also load up on the Dr. Sebagh Supreme Body Cream to hydate. I'm all about perfecting a condensed routine without compromising anything!

Celene Gee:

This summer I'm really into wearing a lot of blue, lots of denim, and oversized men's button downs all paired with a great pair of slides. Skincare wise I'm leaning back into Agent Nateur's Holi (Lift) + Holi (Bright). With all the summer travel, jet lag, and the intense humidity, it's crucial to use products that gently refine the skin and help us achieve that lift.

Of course I'm always after a bronzed summer glow so I'm never without my go-to Warm Glow Bronzer, Liquid Glow 02, and Cocobeam Color Stick. I also really lean heavily into bodycare during the summer months so I'll be recomitting to my routine using the De La Heart Body Sculptor tool with a hydrating body oil.

Steph Gee:

This summer I'm channeling french-girl energy and wearing navy and red stripes. My look is always elevated and casual because I'm in and out of the studio and I'm always wearing Le Labo's Thé Matcha.

I find come summertime I lean into more sunset hues like Teaberry blush and Warm Glow Bronzer on my eyes as well as the Soft Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette. Then I tie it all together with Oh Em Gee Lip Pencil, Cece Lipstick and Charlie Nourishing Lip Gloss. It's the perfect summery makeup look!

In regard to summer skincare, I'm loving iS Clinical Genexc Serum and and the NeckPerfect Complex. I recently did a visia with Simone, one of our talented Medi Experts in Toronto and based on those results, I'm reintroducing the Dr. Barbara Sturm Better B Serum to help me achieve my skin goals and reduce the appearance of my pores. I also learned that I need to be using a more hydrating eye cream, so I've just started using the iS clinical Youth Eye Complex.
